Coast 2 Coast Care are currently recruiting compassionate and dedicated special educational support staff for their client in Worcester. In this role, you will be providing inclusive education and support to students with diverse learning needs. We believe in creating a nurturing and empowering environment where every individual can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
Your responsibilities may include:
- Providing one-on-one or small group support to students with diverse learning needs, including those with learning disabilities, behavioural challenges, or physical disabilities.
- Implementing individualised education plans (IEPs) and adapting instructional materials to meet the unique needs of each student.
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement strategies for supporting student learning and development.
- Assisting students with daily activities, including personal care, mobility, and communication, as needed.
- Creating a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued and respected.
Coast 2 Coast Care require you to have the following as a SEN Support Worker:
- 6 months experience in a similar support role.
- A compassionate and empathetic nature, with a genuine desire to help others.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation (preferred but not essential).
