A leading supply chain business is looking for a Warehouse Team Leader to join their team in Lutterworth. In this role, you'll be responsible for ensuring stock accuracy and quality control before goods leave the warehouse. You'll play a key part in minimising errors and maintaining high standards.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee stock accuracy in the depot and verify stock loaded into trailers against drivers' paperwork.
- Check the accuracy of incoming deliveries.
- Ensure all team members meet performance targets.
- Conduct weekly supervision meetings with each team member.
- Monitor audit data and provide feedback on performance, output, and error rates.
- Respond effectively to verbal instructions and warning devices.
- Communicate clearly both verbally and in writing.
- Use basic Microsoft Excel and Word for reporting.
Role Details:
- Location: Customer distribution centre, Lutterworth
- Shift Pattern: 5 days out of 7, 8-hour shifts with varied start times between 06:00-14:00
- Hours: 37.5 hours per week (plus a 30-minute unpaid break daily)
- Working Environment: Ambient
- Transport: Own vehicle required due to location
