Shift Leader
Salary: £13.73 inclusive of holiday pay (£12.25 per hour + £1.48 holiday pay) + Enhancements
Location: Plymouth
Access to wages from 3 days after shift completion • Immediate Start • Holiday Pay
As a Retail Stocktaking Team Leader you will take accountability for managing teams of up to 60 stock counters, delivering the end-to-end stock taking service while on our client\’s sites. The shifts lengths vary, and we require flexible availability; you will be required to travel to a different client site each day and may occasionally be expected to stay away from home.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage teams of up to 60 stock counters to deliver end-to-end stock taking services on client sites
- Ensure correct procedures and processes are followed
- Deliver exceptional customer service standards on all sites
- Complete stock counts accurately and within the given time frame
- Monitor and improve team productivity
Schedule and Location
Days: Monday – Sunday (Up to 5 days in a 7-day working pattern; there is the possibility of flexibility in working days per week if required)
Hours of Work: Evening/Night shifts

Person Specification
- A Full Driving License
- Outstanding customer service skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of personnel
- Basic IT skills
- Ability to remain focused under pressure
- Effective time management and ability to work without immediate supervision
- Willingness and ability to travel
Please note all work will require prolonged periods of standing and some use of step stools and ladders. Some sites are in warehouses or large retail premises where you may be required to access and work with ground and high level stock.
This role will involve working unsociable hours, including early mornings or night shifts; we are unable to hire anyone under 18 years old.
Full training in our systems and client procedures will be provided.
