The predicted salary is between 10 - 15 £ per hour.

The position is from 12th Jan - 23rd Jan 2026. Mock counts are all arranged for the Friday before counts take place, with the first mock count on Friday 9th Jan at Reading. Attendance is mandatory for all colleagues as inductions and AMT training will be given.

This is a casual position based at our customer's distribution centre in Reading. Rate of pay: £12.26 per hour.

Shift Patterns: 6am-2pm or 7am-3pm

A day in the life of a Warehouse Stock Operative: As a Warehouse Stock Operative, you will work as part of a dynamic and supportive team in a fast-paced and target-driven environment to ensure the stock entering or leaving the depot is accurate. Activities may include working across multiple different workstreams such as Goods In checks, accuracy audits, and load checks.

Job activities:

  • Audit the accuracy of supplier setups.
  • Audit select accuracy of stock setups and investigate all errors found.
  • Adhere to agreed audits and error verification at all times.
  • Maintain integrity at all times.
  • Ensure expected productivity levels are achieved, in line with client expectations.
  • Review daily targets in line with client expectations.

Job specifics:

  • Ability to actively respond to both verbal instructions and electronic warnings.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbally.
  • Basic knowledge of software and data.
  • Carry out stock auditing duties in a fixed site or sites which require shift cover.
  • Maintain and develop relationships and effective lines of communication in the workplace.
  • Administrative duties including weekly time sheets, training and sign off, preview sheets, filing projects and data entry, scheduling, holidays and uniform requests, and any auditing associated tasks.
  • Ensure an efficient and robust service is provided consistently to meet client KPI’s and workflows.
  • All relevant objectives are achieved sustainably.
  • All colleagues are treated professionally at all times.
  • Ensure all allocated shifts are worked and attendance expectations are met.
