Overview
Pharmacy Stock Assistant — Location: Newport
Salary: £13.73 inclusive of holiday pay (£12.25 per hour + £1.48 holiday pay)
Start: Immediate start
Contract type: 5 days per week, Monday to Friday day shifts
Responsibilities
- Accurately count stock for Retail & Asset Solutions in various high street pharmacies to ensure shelves are fully stocked with the medications required for local doctors and hospitals.
- Work as part of a small stock count team and support pharmacy clients.
- Training is provided on your first shift.
Qualifications & Skills
- Previous stock, audit or retail experience is advantageous but not essential.
- Be able to work Monday–Friday day shifts and portray a professional manner.
- Good communication skills and a reasonable level of arithmetic, specifically multiplication.
- Comfortable working with different levels of management.
- Willingness and ability to travel across different regions to shifts.
- Flexible and willing to work on a casual work basis.
- Be committed to showing interest in work and carrying out shifts.
- Driving licence (desired).
Additional information
- Prolonged periods of standing and use of step stools or ladders may be required. Some sites are in warehouses or large retail premises where you may need to reach stock at ground level or high level, involving bending and stretching and possible outdoor work.
- This role may involve unsociable hours including early mornings or night shifts. Age must be 18 or over.
- Stream is a benefit that enables colleagues to track, save and access up to 50% of their wages prior to payday and provides financial advice.
