Team Manager
Location: ASHFORD
Pay: £15.13 - £15.91 per hour inclusive of holiday pay (£13.50 – £14.20 per hour + £1.63 – £1.71 holiday pay)
You will be involved in high profile projects for leading grocery supermarket and DIY chains. Working on New Stores, Refits, Range Reviews, and Store Support Projects. You will work at a fast pace, making quick decisions and leading teams merchandising stock to an excellent standard.
The Role
- Lead and support a team of merchandisers and replenishers carrying out tasks required by the client.
- Communicate with management on progress and end of project sign off.
- Carry out health and safety inductions and checks.
- Shift lengths are generally 12 hours, days and nights (predominately nights). Access to available assignments will be on your smartphone via our Field Power platform where you can set your availability and accept shifts.
- Clock in and out using your smartphone via our RAS Dashboard.
- Work on different retail customer sites/stores with travel varying shift‑by‑shift.
- Remove and replace stock using client plans and systems.
- Adjust shelf heights.
- Move stock from the warehouse onto the shop floor, using roll cages and pallet trucks.
- Stock replenishment.
- Travel when local work is not available. Accommodation will be provided if required to stay away.
Desirable Qualities
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to make decisions and prioritise.
- Previous experience in merchandising, retail supervision or managing people.
- Methodical approach and keen attention to detail.
- Manual handling and heavy lifting required.
- Problem solving and a ‘can do' attitude.
- Must be able to work unsociable hours, including early mornings and nights when required. Applicants must be 18 years or older.
