The Company: We are a leading provider of retail stocktaking, merchandising and supply chain management services. With over 3,500 employees throughout the UK, we provide a hardworking and rewarding workplace with many progression opportunities.
The Role: We are looking for a Retail Team Driver to add to our already successful team. Oversee transportation of a small team of stock counters to and from each shift within your region. Employment will be carried out on different retail customer sites and stores; travel will vary shift‑by‑shift. Certain locations will have minibus transport provided free of charge. Follow correct processes when notifying your count team of pick‑up points and timings for each shift. Escalate any vehicle issues promptly and efficiently. Complete a team attendance sheet, detailing stock counters expected on the bus, who attended, and the arrival time of the bus on site. On site, ensure stock is counted quickly and accurately using a handheld scanner. Be able to stand for prolonged periods; access equipment may be used on occasion to reach high stock.
Key Skills / Experience Required:
- Ability to work unsociable hours, including early mornings or night shifts.
- Minimum age 25 years.
- Full driving license.
- ‘Can do’ attitude and ability to work long shifts when required on large counts.
- Quick learner, as technology changes frequently.
- Experience handling stock is an advantage but not required.
