Retail Driver – Minibus Provided
Salary: £14.29 inclusive of holiday pay (£12.75 per hour + £1.54 holiday pay)
Location: Newport
Availability: Must be available to work throughout June and July
Shifts: 8-10 hour stock count shifts, plus driving time paid
Access to wages: 3-7 days after shift completion

The Role
- Retail Team Driver to oversee transportation of a small team of stock counters to and from each shift within your region.
- Employment carried out on different retail customer sites and stores; travel varies by shift.
- Certain locations will have minibus transport provided free of charge.
- Notify your count team of pick‑up points and timings for each shift.
- Escalate any vehicle issues in a timely and efficient manner.
- Complete a team attendance sheet, detailing the stock counters expected on the bus, who attended and the arrival time of the bus on site.
- Ensure stock is counted quickly and accurately using a handheld scanner while on site.
- Must be able to stand for prolonged periods and occasionally use equipment to reach high stock.
Key Skills / Experience Required
- Unusual hours, including early mornings or night shifts; hence, candidates under 25 years old are ineligible.
- Full Driving License.
- 'Can do' attitude and ability to work long shifts on large counts.
- Quick learner to keep up with changing technology.
- Experience with handling stock is an advantage but not required.
