Reporting to the Senior Channel Manager, you will support the delivery of engaging programming schedules for sports-specific FAST channels, including presentation elements and live event playout. You will ensure assets and metadata are broadcast-ready, playlists are accurate, and live operations run smoothly in compliance with rights and broadcast standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure media is received, processed and available in time for transmission
  • Add and quality-check metadata in broadcast systems to ensure fault-free playout
  • Soft-segment assets for accurate placement of advertising breaks
  • Check, review and amend playlists prior to release; resolve errors, overruns and underruns as required
  • Support live event broadcasts, including triggering ad breaks and returning to schedule
  • Assist with compliance to rights-holder obligations, platform rules and broadcast regulations
  • Work flexibly across evenings and weekends in line with the sporting calendar
  • Carry out other duties within the scope and purpose of the role as the business evolves

Experience required: Experience working in sports broadcasting, including experience with live sports and presentation minutage, you will be skilled at assisting in the delivery of linear channels. Experience using cloud-based playout technology is highly desirable. You will demonstrate strong organisational and multitasking skills and be able to collaborate. Finally, it goes without saying that expertise in or a particular knowledge of (or simply a passion for) sports is essential.
