Overview
We’re looking for a Project Manager with a background in aerospace or other highly regulated engineering environments to join our international team. This role sits at the centre of our customer relationships, operational performance, and commercial delivery and is perfect for someone who thrives on ownership, pace, and accountability.
What You’ll Lead
- Customer & Growth
- Own the relationship across assigned aerospace accounts, building deep, trusted partnerships.
- Lead the customer-focused team to deliver outstanding service and identify growth opportunities.
- Use CRM and ERP tools to manage the customer lifecycle and elevate NPS.
- Understand customer operations, industry pressures, and long-term value drivers.
- Financial & Commercial Performance
- Maintain strong gross margin and operating profit across programmes.
- Ensure EFACS, CRM and all business systems are accurate and up to date.
- Produce accurate revenue, order intake and order book forecasting.
- Resolve pricing issues quickly and transparently.
- Working Capital & Risk
- Manage receivables, cash flow, excess/obsolete material claims and contractual compliance.
- Own customer contracts (MSA, MEPA), ensuring minimal risk and full clarity.
- Operational & Relationship Leadership
- Act as the primary point of contact for operational performance, issues and escalations.
- Work cross-functionally to ensure flawless execution against KPIs.
- Plan and run regular customer reviews and quarterly business reviews.
- Contribute to SIOP and annual strategic planning.
What You Bring
- Core Requirements
- Strong, direct project/programme management experience in a regulated manufacturing environment.
- Ability to analyse complex information, present with authority, and influence senior stakeholders.
- Competent with CRM, ERP and standard business software.
- Able to manage multiple variables with limited standardisation, comfortable with ambiguity.
- Flexible to travel within the UK and internationally.
- Highly Desirable
- Experience in aerospace manufacturing, certification or electronics production environments.
- Leadership of cross-functional teams in a matrixed organisation.
- Knowledge of SIOP, MRP, ERP and trade compliance (export control).
