Join us at C, an automotive 1st/2nd tier supplier that is privately owned and located across the Midlands. The company specialises in batch manufacturing of components for several OEMs and is undergoing sustained organic and acquisitive growth with substantial investment in new machinery and infrastructure.
We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to take responsibility for toolmaking, maintenance and general engineering across the site. This is a hands-on role where you will organise labour and machine time and deliver business KPIs that influence Safety, Quality, Environmental and Production Performance and the Cost of Manufacture.
- Lead and develop an engineering team, ensuring safe and efficient operation.
- Coordinate production processes, machine utilisation and maintenance schedules.
- Deliver on KPIs for safety, quality, environmental compliance and production performance.
- Maintain and optimise tooling and manufacturing equipment.
Requirements:
- Proven experience of team management, preferably with diecasting, plastic moulding or similar.
