Job Purpose
Our client is looking for an energetic, commercially-minded Business Development Executive to represent their award-winning waste and recycling brand across the east midlands.

Key Responsibilities:
- Be the face of our client in your local patch, identifying and converting new business opportunities
- Promote their total waste solutions, including specialist compaction services
- Carry out around 10 quality site visits a day, building trusted relationships with commercial clients
- Structure your own working week while delivering outstanding results
- Hold a weekly one-to-one meeting with the Head of Sales (Waste) to review progress and strategy
- Participate in monthly sales meetings to share best practice and stay aligned with company goals
- Ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new customers
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver the best service for your clients
PERSON SPECIFICATION
- Previous experience in sales, business development, or customer-facing B2B roles
- Confident, bubbly, and persuasive personality – people should love talking to you
- Strong resilience and tenacity – you’ll thrive on chasing down leads and closing deals
- Excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and manage your own time effectively
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Ideally based in or around Chesterfield, with a good knowledge of the local area
