An opportunity has become available for an experienced Joiner/window fitter to become part of C~urbâs Windows and Doors Team. You will provide a high quality and efficient service, carrying out all aspects of joinery work in properties owned or managed by Link Group or within service agreements to other organisations.
C~urb is a partner company of Link Group and provides high quality, customer-focused repairs and maintenance services to Link tenants and other customers in Scotlandâs Central Belt. In addition, we also deliver a range of planned and cyclical maintenance activities.
The post is based within the Windows and Doors team in which you will work as part of a multi-skilled trade team and will be responsible for carrying out windows and doors installations, and other component renewals.
There will be a requirement to work throughout Link's areas of operation, therefore a full UK driving licence is essential. You will be able to plan your own workload and work flexibly to ensure that timescales are met. Access to a van, power tools, mobile phone, uniform, and PPE are provided.
About You
You will have proven experience in a similar joinery role and an NVQ/City & Guilds in Joinery or equivalent. You will have a competent knowledge of joinery manufactured components and knowledge of other core trades associated with joinery installations.
This role requires knowledge of and a commitment to excellent customer care and knowledge and awareness of health and safety requirements and how both impact on method of work and customer needs.
As a Joiner and window fitter, you will have knowledge of a variety of traditional and non-traditional construction methods, materials, and installations.
