Our client is looking for a commercially driven Airline Sales Manager to lead sales performance across the UK for a well-established global airline.
This is a high-impact role where you’ll manage key travel trade relationships, grow corporate and leisure accounts, and drive revenue through strategic sales and market development.
🚀 The Role
You’ll take ownership of a key airline portfolio, leading sales strategy, managing performance and identifying new business opportunities across the UK market. Working closely with internal teams and international stakeholders, you’ll play a key role in shaping sales plans, pricing strategies and market growth.
Airline Sales Manager Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow corporate and leisure travel accounts
- Develop and deliver sales strategies to achieve revenue targets
- Build relationships with travel trade partners and key stakeholders
- Managing a team of 4 (Sales exec, Sales support and 2 reservations agents)
- Deliver sales presentations, training and product updates to agents
- Monitor competitor activity, market trends and performance data
- Support pricing, promotional campaigns and commercial deals
- Represent the airline at industry events, roadshows and trade shows
- Analyse sales performance and provide insights and reporting
Airline Sales Manager key skills and experience:
- Experience in airline sales, account management within a TMC or airline
- Proven track record of driving revenue and achieving targets
- Strong knowledge of the travel trade and airline distribution
- Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills
- Commercially minded with strong analytical ability
- Confident managing stakeholders and working in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to travel and attend industry events
