We are looking for part-time Retail Travel Agents to join our friendly team in our Blackheath shop. C The World is an independent travel agent providing a personalised and tailor-made service, where our consultants use their expertise to provide advice to our loyal client base. If you have a passion for travel and always delivering exceptional customer service, this could be the role for you.
Job Description
Providing comprehensive travel planning and booking services to clients. This role involves consulting with customers to understand their travel needs, offering suitable recommendations, and securing reservations for holidays, transportation, accommodations, and other travel services. The position requires a high level of customer service, attention to detail, and familiarity with travel destinations.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Research and provide holidays, offering expert advice and recommendations
- Build and maintain customer relationships to ensure repeat business
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to maximise sales opportunities
Skills and Experience Required
- A qualification in Travel & Tourism, proven experience in a similar role with good industry knowledge and/or experience in personal travel
- Target driven and determination to succeed
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to deliver outstanding customer service
- Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills
Working Hours
4.00pm-8.00pm Thursday, and Saturday (9.00am-5.00pm).
Salary
Dependent on experience and open to discussion but proposed starting salary around £25,000-£30,000. Salary is reviewed after probation period (3 months).
