Based in the South Belfast area, my client is a large heavy engineering manufacturing company that manufactures products for the global market. They are currently recruiting for an experienced Production Supervisor.

Reporting to the Business Unit Manager, you will be responsible for managing and developing a production team in order to meet safety, quality, and production targets within demanding timescales and cost parameters, while ensuring the correct standards of behaviour from the team.

On offer:

  • Salary: £40,000 - £45,000

Hours: Mon - Thurs, 8am - 4.30pm; Fri, 8am - 2.30pm

Person:

  • Have attained a HNC/HND or equivalent in Engineering or business discipline OR 3 years supervisory experience in a similar role in a production environment.
  • Have at least 2 years experience of working in a continuous production environment in a people management position.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and team skills.
