Based in the Warrington area, my client is a leading manufacturing company who manufacture products for the oil and gas industry and who are market leaders in their field. They rarely recruit due to their excellent work environment, and they seek to hire a Process Improvement Engineer to be responsible for the identification, implementation and analysis of process improvement opportunities within design, planning, production, warehouse and engineering.
To be considered you need at least 5 years process improvement experience within a similar manufacturing environment and possess excellent communication skills. On offer is a salary of £42,000 - £50,000, 33 holidays, pension, life assurance and an early finish at either 12 noon or 1pm every Friday depending on which starting time you prefer. You can choose to work either of the hours below:
- Mon-Thurs, 7am-4pm and Fri, 7am-12 noon
- Mon-Thurs, 8am-5pm and Fri, 8am-1pm

Role: Process Improvement Engineer
- Analyse internal processes either directly or via internal audit results to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Prioritise to achieve greatest gains quickly and work alongside stakeholders to implement effectively.
- Alongside the Operations Manager monitor daily production figures to ensure targets are achieved.
- Develop and maintain operational efficiency (OE/OEE) figures to encompass all aspects of machine utilisation and lost time analysis.
- Produce OE/OEE KPI trends and work alongside the Operations Manager to develop targets and improvement plans.
- Drive continual improvement throughout the business to ensure efficiency is maximised and waste/muda (Time, inventory, scrap, etc) is minimised.
