Based near Dungannon, my client is a small / medium sized company who are a very well-established niche machinery manufacturing company and who are market leaders in their field. They are currently seeking to recruit a Process Engineer who has extensive lean manufacturing experience. This is a great opportunity to make a difference in their manufacturing processes and to see real benefits from the lean projects that you will implement. On offer is a salary of £40,000 - £50,000, pension, healthcare and an early finish every Friday. This position offers you a secure, exciting and well-paid job.

Role

  • Championing lean methodologies such as 5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, Standard Work, and Visual Management.
  • Developing and deploying lean processes aligned with business objectives.
  • Analysing manufacturing, fabrication and business support processes to identify waste, bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
  • Leading cross-functional improvement projects to optimise throughput, reduce lead times, and improve quality.
  • Establishing KPIs, dashboards, and governance structures to track progress and sustain gains.
  • Acting as a change leader, embedding a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
  • Supporting and coaching managers and supervisors to adopt new ways of working.
  • Conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions to resolve process-related issues.

Person

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in process engineering or continuous improvement roles within the manufacturing sector.
