Mobile Plant Fitter (Construction Machinery) Based in Belfast my client is a very successful and renowned dealership who sell a variety of heavy and light plant based machinery. To be suitable for this Mobile Plant Fitter position you must have recent hands on experience working as a Fitter in either a plant dealership, HGV dealership, plant hire, building / civil contractor, forklift, agricultural equipment or similar environment. As a Mobile Plant Fitter you will be offered a starting rate of £17.50 – £20 per hour depending on experience, overtime is paid at time and a half, van, laptop, tool allowance, mobile, pension and OEM training courses. They are also open to considering 3rd and 4th year apprentices but on a lower rate. Role Mobile Plant Fitter Carrying out service, repair, maintenance and inspections on a range of state-of-the-art construction machinery. Diagnosing faults. Carrying out warranty repairs. Visual inspections, adjustment operations and testing. Stripping fitting and replacing components on construction machinery. Fully conversant with machinery hydraulics and electrics. Responsible for the fitting of mechanical / hydraulic components on new and used construction vehicles / machinery.
