Based in the Lisburn area, my client is a large engineering/manufacturing company who manufacture products for the global market. They are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer who is a time served Electrician or Mechatrician with recent experience working in a manufacturing environment.

On offer is a starting salary of £50,388 which rises with training. Overtime is paid at time and a half after 40.25 hours. Benefits include:

  • Pension - company 4% and employee 5%
  • Death in service £60,000
  • Sick pay
  • Private healthcare
  • Subsidised canteen

All levels of post-apprenticeship experience will be considered.

Shift pattern:

  • Wk 1: Mon, Tues, Fri, Sat, Sun 7am – 7pm days
  • Wk 2: Wed, Thurs 7am – 7pm days
  • Wk 3: Mon, Tues, Fri, Sat, Sun 7pm – 7am nights
  • Wk 4: Wed, Thurs 7pm – 7am nights

Role – Maintenance Engineer:

  • Respond quickly to breakdown situations when applicable.
  • Carry out planned maintenance as directed by your line manager.
  • Promptly complete all documentation for all jobs and raise outstanding job requests when required.
  • Liaise on an ongoing basis with Supervisors, Managers about problems and the efficiency of machines in designated areas.

Person – Maintenance Engineer:

Candidates must be time served Maintenance Electricians, Mechatricians or Fitters with electrical qualifications and who have recent experience working within a manufacturing environment.
