Based in the south Belfast area, my client is a successful international heavy engineering company who manufacture automotive products for the global market. They are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer (electrical bias) to provide an efficient maintenance service to production.

The starting salary is £36,121 (38 hour week) which rises after a period of training on their specific machinery, plus paid overtime at time and a half so with minimal weekly overtime you can earn £40,000 - £45,000 p/a. Hours are Mon -Thurs 8.30am - 4.30pm and Fri 8.30am - 2.30pm. Benefits include 33 holidays, pension (company 4% and employee 5%), death in service £60,000, sick pay, private healthcare and subsidised canteen.

Role - Maintenance Engineer
  • Respond quickly to breakdown situations when applicable.
  • Carry out planned maintenance as directed by your line manager.
  • Liaise on an ongoing basis with Supervisors, Managers and Area Engineers about problems and the efficiency of machines in designated areas.
  • Contribute to continuous improvements / TPM on machines and processes.
Person - Maintenance Engineer

Candidates should either be time served Maintenance Electricians, Mechatricians or Fitters with electrical qualification and who have recent experience working within a manufacturing environment.
