Operations Director
Based in the Knutsford area, my client is a leading sheet metal manufacturing company who are market leaders in the international market. They are seeking to hire an experienced Operations Director to shape and lead the manufacturing and operations team. This is a great opportunity to join a group that I have worked with for nearly 20 years so I can give you an in-depth understanding of their business model and operation. Role – Operations Director
· Review performance to target on a daily/weekly/monthly basis and communicate regularly with the Senior Management Team.
· Manage workload and allocate duties for all employees to achieve the maximum output within the site.
· Ensure that all ISO Audit procedures are being adhered to.
· Ensure robust On Time in Full (OTIF) is a priority across the site and target 95% in achieved and maintained.
· Manage daily KPI's using Shop Floor data capture and machine logging to maximise operational effectiveness.
· Oversee production planning and scheduling via the Operations Manager and material planners, ensuring Epicor (ERP system) is being utilized effectively to maximise production.
· Ensure the Operations Manager is utilising his Warehouse Manager / Team Leaders to manage both people and equipment resource effectively on a daily basis and achieving their daily KPI's.
