Based in the Dungannon area, my client is a leading specialist equipment manufacturing company who are going through a period of expansion. They are currently seeking to recruit a Manufacturing Engineer with at least 3 years experience in this type of position.
On offer is a salary of £38,000 - £45,000, 10% bonus, pension, private healthcare, excellent holidays and an early finish every Friday.
Role - Manufacturing Engineer- Plan, coordinate and implement the most efficient and cost-effective production methods required to manufacture major sub-components and final assembly of machines.
- Coordinate with production, engineering and quality assurance departments to establish / implement containment and route cause fixes to manufacturing issues.
- Implementing best practice standard work on shop floor to improve safety and quality and maximise efficiency.
- Review BOMs and highlight any discrepancies with the BOM team.
- New product introduction, design for manufacture reviews, establishing processes and production launch.
- Coordinate and lead time studies and production layouts in conjunction with the production teams.
The successful applicant should be educated to HND/Degree standard and have experience working as a Manufacturing Engineer within a manufacturing environment.
