Based in the Dungannon area, my client is a leading heavy engineering company who are one of the premium brands in their field. They are seeking to recruit an experienced Continuous Improvement Engineer who has at least 2 years experience working in a manufacturing environment. This is a great time to join the company as they are working within a booming market.

On offer is a salary of £37,000 - £45,000 depending on your level of experience, bonus, pension, healthcare, life assurance and lunchtime finish every Friday.

Role
  • Develop and maintain operational efficiency (OE/OEE) figures to encompass all aspects of machine utilisation and lost time analysis.
  • Analysis of internal processes to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Produce OE/OEE KPI trends to develop targets and improvement plans.
  • Drive continual improvement throughout the business to ensure efficiency is maximised and waste is minimised.
  • Identify opportunities to improve areas of the business and provide relevant cost justification.
Person
  • Third level qualification (Degree / HND) in Mechanical Engineering or similar.
  • At least two years experience working in a shop floor based Continuous Improvement Engineer / Manufacturing Engineer type position within a manufacturing environment is essential.
  • Lean manufacturing experience is also essential.
