Process Engineer Based in the South Belfast area, my client is a successful international heavy engineering company who manufacture automotive products for the global market.

My client has a state-of-the-art manufacturing engineering facility and they are currently recruiting for a Process Engineer to conduct research trials, scrap analysis and provide technical support and advice to facilitate the ongoing development and enhancement of processes and products within the company.

Salary is up to £41,000,33 holidays, pension 6%, death in service, sick pay, private healthcare, subsidised canteen and a lunchtime finish every Friday.

Applications from recent engineering graduates are also welcome as long as you have a placement year that is relevant.

Role -Process Engineer Drive the OEE system and associated improvements within the departments.

Improve machine cycles and carry out production improvements as necessary.

Project manage the working of new tooling.

Introduce new products, processes and tooling to the department.

Solve any problems in relation to these and implement permanent process improvements.

Conduct tooling scrap analysis.

Prepare and update departmental CCARs and ad hoc reports as necessary.

Verify specifications for machines, tooling and materials.

Investigate machine, tooling and material sources and select appropriate suppliers with purchasing department and Plant Engineering.
