Excellent opportunity for an experienced Plant Fitter to work onsite at a specialist manufacturing company based south of Armagh City. This is a brand new additional role suitable for a time served Plant Fitter. On offer is a rate of £18 - £20 p/hr, bonus, 28 holidays, pension and professional development support. Hours are Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm with no shifts or weekend work.
Experience working on either Construction Plant, Agricultural Machinery, Forklifts or similar is essential.
Role: Reporting to the Plant Manager, as Plant Fitter you will be an integral part of the operations team in the maintenance and preservation of key plant and equipment.
- Maintain & implement planned and preventative maintenance as per schedules for all plant and equipment and report key findings.
- Changeout bearings, rollers, drums, motors, gearboxes, pumps, rams, trommels, support wheels etc.
- Ensure all plant and equipment is operationally safe and complies with the relevant legislation.
- Maintain all records, documentation and literature in compliance with company safety, health, environmental and quality standards.
