C & T Auctioneers and Valuers were established in 2013 as a specialist auction house of Militaria and Vintage Toys. It has since expanded and now has other departments including Dolls, Coins, Watches, Jewellery and Retro Toys. We run as an online only Auction house from our offices in Kenardington, Kent with a small, dedicated team.
As the Auction House co-ordinator, you’ll be responsible for the logistics and administration of each auction. You will also track the journey of each Lot from consignment to shipment ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
Key Responsibilities- Set up the auction on our back office system.
- Stock control and management.
- Receive consignments.
- Liaising with other staff members, specialists, photographers and the shipping team.
- Ensure stock is lotted correctly, according to description, before each auction.
- Answer client queries.
- Cover Front of House admin duties when needed.
- Excellent organisational skills, ability to work under deadline pressure and coordinate with other departments.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Full driving licence and own vehicle are essential due to remote location.
- Physically fit as some heavy lifting required.
- 40 hours per week, 9am – 5pm, Monday – Friday (with some flexibility as required)
