You will work across the full development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, solution design, development, testing, deployment and ongoing improvement. The role will also involve understanding and, where required, migrating functionality from our existing VB.NET, WinForms and SQL Server applications into the new web platform. This is a hands-on development role suited to someone who enjoys solving real business problems, working with complex workflows and building software that is reliable, maintainable and easy for users to operate.

  • Write unit tests and assist with integration, regression and user acceptance testing.
  • Diagnose and resolve software defects and performance issues.
  • Review code and contribute to development standards and architecture decisions.
  • Produce clear technical documentation and implementation notes.
  • Support application deployments to Azure environments.
  • Work with AI-assisted development tools, including OpenAI Codex, to improve development speed and quality.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the framework, development processes and coding standards.
