Would you like the opportunity to work with one of Scotland's top construction companies and civil engineering contractors? With headquarters in Glasgow, but working all across Scotland, they are now looking to recruit civils orientated Section Engineers for roads/highways, infrastructure, earthworks and drainage projects in the Central Belt and North of Scotland where you'll manage a team of Site Engineers.
Solid experience of Roadworks/Highways and/or Structures, Earthworks and Drainage would be highly beneficial. Working across the private and public sectors, they have become a partner of choice for civil engineering and groundworks solutions with housebuilders, main contractors, local authorities, public utilities and industry. They work as Principal Contractor for the majority of their clients.
Key Requirements of the Role
- As a section engineer you will be responsible for the management of specified sections of the construction site, in order to achieve required project delivery to the customers' objectives, while maintaining standards of health and safety, quality, environmental impact and cost control.
- Already experienced as a section engineer you will have a relevant industry qualification (HND/HNC/BEng) or equivalent.
- You will have a hands-on approach to the commercial and planning aspects of the project and you will have solid civil engineering experience.
