We are currently working with a growing broadband provider who are expanding their installation teams across various locations in the Highlands as they continue to roll out fibre to rural communities. This is a great opportunity for someone hands-on, customer-focused, and looking to build a career in fibre - full training can be provided.
The Role:
- You'll be working on the front line, installing fibre connections directly into customers' homes and helping bring high-speed broadband to rural areas.
- Working to a scheduled diary, you'll play a key role in delivering a positive customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Installing Fibre to the Premises (FTTP) connections
- Pulling/blowing fibre cables from cabinets or chambers to properties
- Carrying out light excavation works in customer gardens
- Clearing blockages through soft dig methods
- Working on overhead networks where required
- Completing internal installations and setting up equipment (CPE)
- Testing connections and ensuring everything is fully operational
- Talking customers through the service and answering any questions
- Maintaining a high standard of customer service on every job
What we're looking for:
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Comfortable with manual work and working outdoors
- Willingness to work at height when required
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn (training provided)
