Join our client’s commercial team to manage tenders from inception to completion across contracting and private development projects.

The Role

You will drive the estimating process while building strong relationships with clients, consultants, and supply chain partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Tender Management: Coordinate tenders from Bills of Quantities to final settlement and submission.
  • Risk & Value: Identify project risks, analyse proposals, and deliver value engineering options.
  • Supply Chain: Maintain our subcontractor database and select material supplier enquiry lists.
  • Collaboration: Partner with Senior QS’s on take‑offs and hand over data to construction teams.
  • Client Engagement: Review technical specs, manage post‑tender queries, and support feasibility studies.
  • What We’re Looking For
  • Experience: Main contractor background with strong Design & Build and package negotiation skills.
  • Technical Skills: Ability to read design drawings and use estimating software such as EValuate and MS Office.
  • Traits: Self-motivated, highly organized, and able to deliver high‑quality proposals under tight deadlines.
  • Licence: Full UK/EU driving licence is required.
  • Preferred (But Not Essential)
  • Degree: BSc in Quantity Surveying or a construction-related subject.
  • Software: Experience using the COINS ERP system.
  • Tenure: Five or more years of post-graduation estimating experience.
