About the Role
We are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Store Person to join their team. This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone with proven stock handling and warehouse experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, check, and store deliveries.
- Manually unload goods from vehicles as required.
- Deal with any discrepancies and input information onto computerised stock management system.
- Contribute to the maintenance of the stores stock\’ in order to support the day-to-day operation of the company; assisting in the compilation of orders, for goods held in store with trades staff to ensure that their stock levels are realistic and workable.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch.
- Keep accurate stock records and update systems.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised store/warehouse.
- Complete regular stock counts and report discrepancies.
- Work with other departments to ensure smooth supply of materials.
About You
- Previous experience in a stores, stock handling, or warehouse role.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to follow processes and maintain accurate records.
- Physically fit and able to handle manual tasks.
- A team player with good communication skills.
