We are looking for a new Quantity Surveyor to add value and bring professionalism and experience to the team. Coordinating the surveyor's functions within the team & meeting management objectives. Compliance with NEC suite of Contracts.
Key Responsibilities and Service Standards as a Quantity Surveyor:
- Monitoring of costs & maximising value on schemes
- Preconstruction Works
- Previous Target Cost Experience
- Term Service Contract Experience using SOR to produce Task Quotations
- Preparation of cost/value information
- Accurate forecast for management accounts
- Monthly review of accounts
- Financial assessments through to final agreement
- Assisting with procurement and other preconstruction activities
- Experienced user of EXCEL and CEMAR
- Keeping to all deadlines agreed
- Consistently working at a level to achieve the tasks required
- All correspondence acknowledged or actioned within a reasonable period
- All reports submitted within 1 day of close of reporting period
- Attend site visits to review progress, measure works, and assess risks
- Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure compliance with specifications and RAMS
