Job Description

Role: Parts Sales & Administrator
Location: C&O Tractors Ltd – Isle of Wight Depot

Purpose of Role

To provide excellent customer service in the supply of parts for Massey Ferguson tractors, agricultural machinery, SANY excavators, KV grassland attachments and more while carrying out general depot administration duties. This position would suit someone with experience in agriculture or plant machinery parts sales, alongside strong administration and organisational skills. We would happily receive applications from anyone with experience in a similar industry.

Key Responsibilities

Parts Sales

• Serve customers at the counter, by phone, and email in a professional, friendly manner.
• Identify and supply correct parts for a wide range of machinery.
• Prepare quotes, process sales orders, and promote seasonal offers to new and existing customers.
• Support Service Engineers with timely and accurate parts supply.

Stock & Warranty

• Receive, check, and book deliveries into IBCOS GOLD.
• Organise, label and store stock accurately, ensuring good housekeeping.
• Process supplier returns and warranty parts within required timescales.
• Assist with stock counts and investigate discrepancies.

General Depot Administration

• Handle incoming calls and direct enquiries to the correct department.
• Maintain records, filing, and documentation for parts, sales, and depot functions.
• Process supplier invoices and purchase orders as required.
• Provide admin support to the Service Manager and the rest of the depot team.

Skills & Attributes

• Background in agriculture or plant machinery parts sales (preferred).
• Strong administration, organisation, and IT skills (IBCOS GOLD knowledge an advantage but not essential).
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Accuracy and attention to detail in handling stock and paperwork.
• Flexible team player who can support across the depot.

This role would suit someone from an agricultural, construction, or plant machinery background who combines parts sales knowledge with strong administrative ability.
