The Electrical Engineer is responsible for the safe, efficient, and reliable maintenance and operation of electrical systems within the buildings. This includes support for power distribution, control panels, motors, BMS interfaces, and lighting systems. The role involves executing planned and reactive maintenance to ensure the continuous supply of energy services (heat, cooling, and power) to customers around the site. The Electrical Engineer will ensure compliance with safety standards, system reliability, and high-quality workmanship.

Responsibilities:

  • Carry out the scheduled preventive maintenance programme for all electrical plant and systems.
  • Respond to and resolve electrical faults, alarms, and breakdowns.
  • Conduct minor installations and upgrades in line with system design and standards.
  • Proactively monitor electrical systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Maintain clear and thorough maintenance records and close out all work orders promptly.

We are currently looking for an Electrical Engineer to join the team on our site based in East London. This is a day's role of 8am – 5pm Monday to Friday and will involve visiting several sites a week in East London in a vehicle provided with the role.

Qualifications & Experience:

Our ideal candidate will have Electrical qualifications to current regulations and Mechanical knowledge, be familiar with working in a building maintenance capacity and have site experience with the following:

  • Scheduled and reactive site PPMs
  • Fault finding
  • Chillers
  • Cooling towers
  • L8
  • BMS systems
  • CHPs
  • Boilers
  • Heat transfer
  • Plate heat exchangers
  • Change pump seals and bearings
  • Pressurization units
