A well-established, growing independent Travel Management Company based in Manchester is looking for an experienced Part-time Out of Hours Business Travel Consultant to join their team. This is a rare and highly flexible opportunity, ideal for an experienced corporate travel professional seeking a better work-life balance.

Role:

  • Managing a very low volume of out-of-hours travel requests (primarily via email)
  • Booking and amending UK, European and worldwide business travel (flights, hotels, car hire)
  • Handling changes, reissues and any urgent travel disruptions
  • Working in line with client travel policies and cost-effective solutions
  • Predominantly business travel (approx. 90-99%), with very occasional leisure assistance needed
  • This is a true on-call position - most nights are quiet, with long periods of downtime once any initial tasks are completed.

Working Pattern:

  • 2 fixed nights per week: Monday & Tuesday
  • Hours: 17:00 - 09:30
  • Plus: 4 weeks per year additional cover (planned well in advance to cover the other consultants)
