Travel consultant required for this small niche travel agency based in West London. You will be selling the Baltics, Balkans and Nordics, including tailormades and tours. The role is hybrid, with 3 days in the office. Travel industry sales experience is a must, along with knowledge of some of the destinations mentioned above. Salary is around £32,000 to £34,000, with great commission and benefits.
Duties of a travel consultant:
- Specialising in holidays to the Baltics, Balkans and Nordics, both tailormades and small groups, winter and summer holidays, short breaks, tours, etc.
- Organising the whole trip and dealing with the customer from the initial enquiry, all the way through to a welcome home call.
Skills required of a travel consultant:
- Travel consultant experience is a must, selling either the Nordics, Balkans or Baltics.
- Ideally some GDS knowledge, preferably Amadeus, but this is not essential.
- Happy to work in a West London office 3 days per week.
Additional information:
- Salary ideally around £32,000 to £34,000 plus commission.
- This role is hybrid only, and they will not consider someone who wants home-based only.
- 1 in 6 Saturdays, 9am to 1pm, with time off in lieu as well as paid.
