An international corporate bank is looking to hire a Junior Analyst who will support on independent risk analysis across post-loan portfolios and financial markets activity. Reporting into senior risk leadership, the role will work across risk reporting, portfolio monitoring and credit governance, with direct exposure to credit committees, risk appetite frameworks and stress testing.
Responsibilities
- Risk analysis across the loan portfolio, including limit monitoring and risk appetite compliance.
- Monitor financial markets exposures and reporting to senior management.
- Manage credit logs for new loan and financial markets transactions.
- Produce daily, monthly, and ad-hoc risk reporting covering credit and market risk.
- Contribute analytical input into stress testing across loans, bonds, and market risk.
- Analyse country, industry, and climate-related risk exposures across the portfolio.
- Act as middle office support, ensuring transactions are accurately processed in systems.
- Support risk governance by acting as secretary to Credit Committee.
Skills & Experience
- Prior experience in risk, corporate lending or credit in a banking environment.
- An understanding of the relevant product suite: corporate lending, structured finance, project finance, leveraged finance.
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail.
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a regulated, deadline-driven environment.
- Clear communicator, able to support senior stakeholders and risk committees.
