An International bank based in London seek a Head of Real Estate to join their Corporate Banking department, you will oversee client relationships and drive lending business in the real estate sector, aligning with the bank’s strategy and risk guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of real estate financing deals, including structuring, negotiation, and documentation.
- Oversee the preparation of business proposals, financial analysis, and credit assessments to support loan approvals.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to complete necessary documentation and due diligence.
- Monitor the real estate credit portfolio, assessing client risk and industry trends.
- Coordinate with other bank departments to deliver high-quality products and services to clients.
- Promote additional banking products, such as loans, deposits, and cash management solutions.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements, including client due diligence.
- Support team operations by maintaining accurate records and producing portfolio analytics.
- Conduct market research and represent the bank at industry events.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Proven experience in real estate finance, client management, or portfolio oversight in banking.
- Strong understanding of financial analysis and real estate market dynamics.
- Familiarity with loan and security documentation.
- Established network of industry contacts, such as valuers or legal professionals.
- Knowledge of banking products and associated risks.
- Strong analytical and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build trust with clients and stakeholders.
