Assistant Manager - Loans Agency London c james Full time

An expanding Financial Institution based in London seeks an experienced Loans Agency professional to expand their loan management division. The role will include supervisory aspects for more junior staff, and facility agent experience is preferred.

Responsibilities:

1. Portfolio management responsibility for a diverse remit of syndicated loans
2. Respond to transaction developments or queries on behalf of syndicate members
3. Support junior Analysts, assign relevant tasks, and ensure accuracy of their work
4. Oversee relevant workflows and ensure timely completion of tasks
5. Operate as the first point of contact for resolution of any potential issues
6. Develop and review internal policies and procedures to ensure optimal performance
7. Provide ad-hoc support on relevant departmental projects
8. Liaise with internal and external stakeholders (deal teams, syndicate banks, borrowers, legal counsel, etc.)

Required Experience:

• Extensive Loan Agency exposure
• Diverse Syndicated Loans coverage
• Facility agent experience
• Supervisory experience
• Exposure to relevant systems (e.g., LoanIQ, Debtdomain) is beneficial
