CJ Associates, part of the RSK Group, have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Cable Percussion Lead Driller with NVQ level 2 to join their growing team based in Avonmouth, Bristol.

This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to join a supportive and experienced team that focuses on quality and health & safety. We work all over the UK ranging from inner-city to countryside locations.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise cable percussion drilling operations on site
  • Set up, operate, and dismantle cable percussion rigs
  • Ensure boreholes are drilled to required depth and specification
  • Oversee casing installation, sample recovery, and in-situ testing
  • Ensure accurate record keeping
  • Complete daily drilling reports and site documentation
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety legislation and company RAMS
  • Carry out routine maintenance and fault diagnosis on drilling equipment
  • Liaise with site managers, engineers, and clients
  • Supervise and mentor assistant drillers and trainees
  • Ensure site housekeeping standards are maintained

Experience/Qualifications required:

  • CSCS and NVQ Level 2 (Lead Driller) required
  • BDA accreditation preferred
  • Full driving licence is essential
  • Flexibility to work in varying locations around the UK
