As a member of the Facilities Team, you will play a pivotal role in creating a welcoming and secure atmosphere for all visitors and colleagues at our Lowndes Street branch. Your responsibilities will centre around the daily operations, ensuring the branch is maintained to the highest standards and continuously seeking opportunities for improvement.
Responsibilities- Responsible for the provision of a safe, compliant and effective working environment ensuring the day-to-day smooth operation of all Lowndes Street facilities.
- Ensure that all necessary equipment and supplies are readily available, and that the officer remains clean, inviting, and prepared for the day's requirements.
- You will serve as the visible face of the branch, taking ownership of its presentation and operational excellence.
- Provide general assistance to the staff at the Bank and support the Facilities Management Team as required.
- Coordinate outsourced contractors as directed by and in liaison with the wider Facilities Management team.
- Supporting both the Facilities Manager and Security Manager, you will contribute to the delivery of a consistently safe and secure environment for everyone using the branch.
- Undertake the role of the Doorman during designated periods throughout the day, providing a welcoming and secure presence.
- Provide security, safety and emergency presence and control.
- Ensure general building and health and safety compliance across all facilities.
- Maintaining good Health & Safety records, utilising the banks H & S systems ensuring all tasks are carried out within their scheduled timeframe and evidenced as appropriate.
- Ensure that all facilities are provided and maintained with agreed SLA’s, KPI’s, bank policy, external quality accreditations and evidence accordingly.
- Pro-actively signal and report issues with service and/or building defects to ensure the bank facilities continue to meet high standards.
- Support the Head of Facilities with managing tenants and being an onsite presence for any queries.
- Ensure that the Bank's culture and heritage is always reflected in the infrastructure and experience of those who visit the Bank.
- Work closely with the Bank’s Cashiers team to ensure the customer experience is always to the standard required.
- Highly proficient in spoken and written English and be a strong communicator.
- Highly organised and able to prioritise effectively.
- Comfortable working independently, collaboratively and/or as part of a team.
- A passion to learn and develop. Ensuring you remain up to date with the relevant industry and skills.
- Strong knowledge of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).
- Experience in a high-end, customer-focused, corporate environment.
- Experience in a facilities, security or maintenance environment.
- Basic understanding of health and safety.
- Display the highest standard of personal presentation.
