As a Business & Data Analyst, you will create, maintain, and distribute insights derived from key performance measures. You will evaluate business processes, anticipate requirements, identify opportunities for improvement, and design solutions for key customers. You will also educate internal and external stakeholders on trends and results, translating data into actionable insights that support informed decision‑making and positive change. Additionally, this role includes regular interaction with external stakeholders through business reviews, sales calls, and consultations.
This position can be based anywhere within the EU, provided it is located near a C.H. Robinson office location.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESThe duties and responsibilities of this position consist of, but are not limited to, the following:
- Adapt and enhance reporting, analytics, and data applications based on stakeholder feedback.
- Maintain a standardized library of reporting and analysis to support current and future business needs.
- Use agile ways of working and work management tools to deliver high‑quality analytical outputs.
- Analyze medium‑scale internal and external data sets to address complex business questions and improve decision‑making.
- Identify trends and provide fact‑based recommendations that drive operational improvements and positive business outcomes.
- Collaborate with leadership, analytics teams, and cross‑functional partners across the network to develop robust performance, optimization, and predictive analytics.
- Partner with internal departments to understand business drivers and the impact of change across the organization.
- Support the development of innovative, data‑driven solutions that improve supply chain services for customers across Europe.
- Create and maintain project documentation, communicate progress, and ensure timely delivery of agreed outcomes.
Required:
- Secondary school diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Business Analyst or similar analytical role.
- Solid working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, with proven intermediate proficiency in Excel.
- Experience using data visualization and reporting tools such as Power BI and Tableau, as well as SQL for data querying.
- Basic to intermediate coding experience (e.g. scripting or data manipulation).
- Prior experience or strong knowledge of logistics and supply chain processes.
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to influence change and work effectively within a large, geographically dispersed organization.
- Collaborative working style with strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience in data and financial analysis within a sales, commercial, or operations environment.
- Working knowledge of Python, R, or similar analytical tools.
- Proven ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights and business recommendations.
