Role Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented, proactive, Founder’s Associate to support our founding team across a range of critical tasks. This multifaceted role will involve writing compelling proposals, managing client agreements, ensuring prompt and professional email communication, attending industry events, preparing comprehensive greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions reports, and preparing client facing presentations/documents.
Responsibilities:
- Respond promptly and effectively to client and partner enquiries via email.
- Attend industry conferences, networking events, and client meetings to represent our brand and build professional relationships.
- Prepare and review detailed GHG emissions reports, ensuring accuracy and high standards.
- Generate emissions reduction strategies for clients and advise clients on reduction techniques.
- Generate and advise clients on Net Zero strategies.
- Monitor the sustainability space generally to keep on top trends and latest developments in the field.
- Draft and edit clear, persuasive client facing documents and presentations.
- Manage client agreements, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and timeliness.
- Collaborate closely with our technical team to support carbon footprint calculations.
- Provide general operational support to the founders as required.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Degree in a field that involves critical thinking and written communication, such as Environmental Science, Business, Sustainability, Social Sciences, or Humanities.
- Strong organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritise effectively.
- A keen interest in sustainability, climate change, and carbon footprint management.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced startup environment.
- Over two years professional experience.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Previous experience or internships in sustainability, consulting, or related sectors.
- Familiarity with carbon accounting standards (GHG Protocol, ISO 14064-1, SECR, TCFD, etc.).
- Passion for AI or automation solutions in a business context.
