An exciting opportunity has arisen within Days Motor Group as we are looking to recruit an innovative Marketing Manager. Reporting directly to the Group Sales Operations Manager and managing the day-to-day activity of the Marketing Team, we are ideally looking for an individual with marketing experience gained from within the motor industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Devise, develop and implement detailed and integrated marketing plans for our brand partners (Ford, Peugeot and Iveco) that support departmental goals, budgets and objectives whilst incorporating manufacturer planned initiatives.
  • Create marketing campaigns, promotional materials, emails, press releases, articles and presentations, and other written materials as required.
  • Liaising with the manufacturer to ensure alignment and adherence to corporate guidelines.
  • Producing and distributing core marketing reports where necessary.
  • Co-ordinate the administration and logistics support for the brand specific events.
  • Managing and updating the Day's Website.
  • Maintain a keen understanding of industry trends and make appropriate recommendations regarding marketing strategy surrounding them.
  • Direct and train the Marketing Team to deliver agreed objectives across all media and all social media channels.
  • Collaboration with Sales / Aftersales and Senior Management team across the business to ensure business objectives are delivered.

Requirements:

  • Proven marketing experience (ideally) within the motor industry and leadership skills required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills and confidence interacting at all levels.
  • Solid experience with Digital Marketing including Google Analytics, Social Media, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and ideally a thorough understanding of Hubspot.
  • Driving licence essential due to location of dealerships and events.

  • Must be able to work in a self-directed, rapidly changing environment.
  • Strong organisational and analytical skills with the ability to multitask.
  • Ability to cope with pressure and meet deadlines.
