Hi, I'm Donald and I live in my own home in Grangemouth. I am recruiting for a new member to join my team of Personal Development Workers. My team are all superstars and support me to keep living my best life. I love going out and about, attending events, playing bingo, visiting local lunch clubs, meeting lots of people, going for a drive or going on adventures. As I own my own car, my team already support me with getting out and about. As a new team member and if you drive, we can go on adventures together.

I also enjoy watching TV, my favourites are snooker, wrestling or cooking programmes, especially starring Gordon Ramsay, as he's my favourite chef. He is full of character, like me. I would love to do more cooking or baking and I will soon be attending a cooking skills class. Hopefully I will be able to take my skills back home to my own kitchen. You could be my sous chef?

As a good match for me, you will be friendly, easy-going, confident, patient and have a sense of humour.

Responsibilities

  • Support Donald to participate in daily living, social activities and events in the community and at home.
  • Assist with travel and transportation to appointments, events and social activities, including driving if applicable.
  • Support cooking and baking activities and help involve Donald in meal planning and preparation where possible.
  • Help maintain safety and well-being and promote independence in daily routines.

  • Driving ability is beneficial for accompanying on outings and adventures.
