C&C Search is partnering with a financial services organisation to recruit a Senior HR Advisor with exceptional operational delivery, sound judgement and the ability to build trusted relationships across the business. This role will suit someone who takes real pride in getting things done properly. You will bring structure, accuracy and consistent follow-through to the employee lifecycle, combining hands-on HR expertise with clear communication and a highly collaborative approach.

The role

  • Onboarding: coordinating the process from preparation through to joining, ensuring documentation, communication and practical arrangements are accurate and completed on time.
  • Offboarding: managing departures with discretion and attention to detail, coordinating the relevant stakeholders and ensuring each stage is handled thoroughly.
  • Performance management: supporting review processes, guiding managers through requirements and keeping actions, documentation and deadlines on track.
  • HR reporting: producing accurate, timely reports and maintaining reliable employee data.
  • Data analysis: identifying patterns, drawing out useful findings and presenting information clearly to support decisions.
  • Stakeholder relationships: building credibility with managers and colleagues, communicating priorities and influencing action when needed.
  • Operational improvement: identifying gaps, improving processes and following through to ensure changes work in practice.
  • Team collaboration: working closely with HR colleagues, sharing information and contributing wherever needed to deliver a consistent service.

What we’re looking for

  • You must have gained HR experience within a mid-market investment banking organisation. This is an essential requirement; broader financial services experience alone will not meet the brief.
  • Strong hands-on experience across onboarding, offboarding and performance management.
  • Excellent HR reporting and data analysis skills, with meticulous attention to accuracy.
  • A track record of delivering operational HR work reliably, managing competing priorities and seeing tasks through to completion.
  • Exceptional professionalism, discretion and confidence handling sensitive information.
  • Clear, concise written and verbal communication, with the ability to explain what matters and what needs to happen next.
  • Strong stakeholder impact and influence, building trust while confidently keeping processes moving.
  • A highly collaborative approach and a willingness to support colleagues and take shared responsibility for delivery.

The person who will thrive

You will be an experienced HR professional who enjoys the detail of operational delivery and understands the difference that a dependable HR team makes to a business. You will be comfortable taking ownership, anticipating what is needed and following up without being prompted. Just as importantly, you will be a strong team player who listens, shares information and works constructively with others.
