C&C Search is currently recruiting an experienced Part Time Office and HR Manager for a boutique investment firm. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly organised individual seeking a long term, stable position with significant ownership and autonomy. Working within a high performing and collaborative environment, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in creating an exceptional workplace experience and supporting all people related processes.

Position: Part Time Office and HR Manager | Standalone Office and HR position

Salary: £50,000 to £60,000 FTE, pro rata

Hybrid set up: 20 hours per week across 4 or 5 days. Office based position.

Key responsibilities for this position:

  • Own the day to day management and smooth operation of the office
  • Manage supplier, contractor and building relationships
  • Ensure the workplace remains organised, welcoming and fully operational
  • Coordinate company events, team celebrations and employee engagement activities
  • Oversee office administration and operational processes
  • Manage HR administration including employee records, contracts and HR systems
  • Coordinate recruitment, onboarding and new starter processes
  • Support the administration of employee benefits
  • Act as the first point of contact for employee queries
  • Support employee relations processes, escalating matters when required
  • Proactively identify and resolve workplace issues before they become problems

What background and experience are the company looking for?

  • At least 7 years of professional experience within Office Management, HR Management or Workplace Management
  • Previous experience operating as a standalone Office Manager, Office and HR Manager or highly autonomous professional
  • Strong experience supporting senior stakeholders
  • Ability to provide pragmatic and commercially minded advice
  • Experience within financial services, investment management, professional services, technology or other fast paced environments
  • Excellent organisational and problem solving skills
  • Strong relationship management and communication skills
  • Experience managing HR administration, employee lifecycle processes and recruitment coordination
  • A proactive, dependable and professional approach
  • Sound judgement with the confidence to challenge constructively when required
