We are partnering with a fast-growing PE Backed Financial services business to appoint an HR & Operations Manager into a newly created role. This opportunity would suit an experienced HR Generalist with strong operational capability who enjoys working in a lean, high-performance environment and taking ownership across both people and business operations.
This is a broad, hands-on role where you will build and run core HR processes while also supporting operational effectiveness across the business.
The RoleThis role will have responsibility for both HR and operational activity, including:
- Managing the full employee lifecycle, from hiring and onboarding through to performance management and exits
- Developing and embedding HR policies, processes, and best practice
- Acting as the first point of contact for HR queries and employee relations matters
- Supporting workforce planning, organisational design, and role clarity
- Partnering with leadership on performance, engagement, and retention initiatives
- Overseeing day-to-day business operations to ensure the smooth running of the organisation
- Improving processes, systems, and ways of working across the business
- Supporting senior leaders with operational planning and execution
- Managing external suppliers and professional advisors where relevant
You are likely to be a strong fit if you:
- Have experience in an HR Manager, HR & Operations Manager, or senior HR generalist role in a similar environment - Alternative Investments, Asset Management, Investment Banking, Private Equity or Venture Capital
- High level of ownership and influence
- Exposure to senior leadership and strategic decision-making
- Hybrid Working: 4 days in the office/ 1 at home
