C&C Search is currently recruiting an IFA Assistant for a dynamic and professional financial services firm based in London. This is an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative and supportive operations team on a 10‑month fixed‑term contract within a highly respected organisation. Position: IFA Assistant, 10 month fixed‑term contract

Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 (depending on experience)

Hybrid set up: Full‑time office‑based in London with the option to work from home one day a week (depending on business needs)

Key responsibilities for this IFA Assistant position:

  • Provide essential support to Partners, Financial Advisers, and Private Client Managers in managing client relationships and new business.
  • Obtain valuations, performance data and prepare client reports and application packs.
  • Prepare and process documentation throughout the client journey, including applications, withdrawals, and client onboarding.
  • Manage and maintain accurate client data.
  • Liaise with providers and clients to resolve queries via email, phone, and post.
  • Oversee post, courier arrangements, and general office administration.
  • Support with office operations including reception duties, meeting room bookings, and supplies management.
  • Participate in ad hoc projects and data management initiatives.

What background and experience are the company looking for?

  • Minimum 1‑2 years’ experience in an IFA administration or within a similar financial services support role.
  • Ideally you will be immediately available or on short notice.
  • Ideally you will have strong knowledge of ISAs, GIAs, pensions, offshore bonds, and trusts.
  • Preferably you will have familiarity with UK financial regulation, GDPR, and Consumer Duty requirements.
  • Excellent IT skills and ability to adapt to new systems quickly (experience with XPLAN advantageous).
  • Highly organised, detail‑oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a client‑focused mindset.
